Nero, October 2000 to September 2015, was a faithful friend and family member, a courageous warrior and gentle giant during his time here on earth. He began his service as a police officer with the City of Salisbury in 2002. He and I then went to work with the Town of Mooresville in 2005. After serving the citizens in the Town of Davidson in 2007 we returned to Mooresville and served faithfully together Until his retirement in 2011. Nero spent the remainder of his days as a playful pet and family member until his passing on September 2, 2015.
