Early Wednesday morning, we lost our sweet Blackie. I found Pet Pilgrimage by chance online while looking up information about cremation. Although I heard there was a funeral home that took care of animals in my area (although I couldn’t find information on their website), when I found the Pet Pilgrimage website and saw what love and care they took with people’s beloved animals, I knew I found the place for Blackie.

I called their 24-hour line at 7:30am and from the moment I first talked to them till I went to pick up Blackie, they were the nicest, kindest, and most sincere people I have ever met, especially with the circumstances of my inquiry and visit. Leslie is the sweetest person ever and I believe she made my experience at Pet Pilgrimage. My husband was amazed at our experience when dropping Blackie off and was not expecting the treatment we received. I got a call only six hours later telling me i could come get Blackie.

When I was able to pick him up, I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I got him (with the exception of the urn and clay memorial piece). But when Leslie walked in with Blackie, every single little extra detail meant so much to me. From the sweet bag he was in (with the rainbow and wonderful wording) to the hand written note in the condolence card we were given, I truly felt we found the right place to help us properly honor the life of our fur-baby. Although no one wants to think of when their living fur-babies will pass, I know where they will all be taken when it is their time to be honored and remembered.

I cannot thank you (Leslie) and your staff enough for the amazing work you all have done to take care of our sweet Blackie. Every sweet detail is helping to heal my heart and I truly appreciate everything you all have done. Words cannot express my upmost gratitude, appreciation, and thanks for everything. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.
