Beaujolais died peacefully at home on Monday evening, May 23rd, 2016. Born in Eureka, California in 2002, Beau grew up running free on the northwest windswept beaches, in redwood forests, and on one occasion with a herd of elk. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2004, and lived a happy, healthy life with her best friend, Loki.

She had a strong spirit, beautiful heart, and sharp mind. Beau lived in the moment, took life as it came, never complained, was direct, and loved unconditionally. She was a rock in her home, loved greatly, and will be missed fiercely. Wherever her spirit flew away to, I hope she’s running on a beach somewhere with many friends nearby.
