In Loving Memory of Honey

My wife and I recently had to say goodbye to Honey, our girl of 19 years.
We rescued her when she was just one, a Pomeranian and long haired Dachshund mix with the softest blonde coat and the sweetest blonde eyelashes you’ve ever seen. She came to us after a rough start in life, but from the moment she joined our family, she never looked back.
Honey was gentle. She was loving. She was our shadow, always a few steps behind us, content just to be near. She loved her walks more than almost anything, and she welcomed every one of our other fur babies like they’d always belonged.
Eighteen years of loyalty, love, and quiet companionship. She gave us everything she had, and we tried to give it right back.
Rest easy, sweet girl. You were loved beyond measure, and you will be missed every single day.
